The German company bedea Berkenhoff & Drebes has made a name for its exclusive light design for higher pretensions. bedea akzent starlight sets complete the product range for private applications. Not only for decoration purposes, these assemblies may illuminate rooms completely without additional conventional lighting media. The starlight sets of the bedea akzent product range are made of fiber optic cables needing smallest installation spaces. Using only one light source, up to 500 single fibers with a diameter of only 1 mm may be supplied with a light intensity sufficient to illuminate living areas of any kind. Applications in private areas, such as winter gardens, bathes, showers, and saunas transform these rooms into regions to relax in. Even larger ceiling lightings, foyers, hotel lobbies, or presentation rooms are going to be an illuminated event. But not only roof or ceiling applications are possible. This technology may also be applied in and into floors.


No matter, if halogen light sources are used to charge smaller rooms in private areas, or High-End-light sources for larger spaces - as only light is being transmitted, installing this lighting system can be done in an utmost easy way.

If additional colour moods shall be achieved, or light spots shall appear as twinkling stars, bedea offers various colour changing modules with integrated colour or effect filters. Once installed, any services will be necessary. Only the lighting media inside the light source has to be changed after 2,000 to 6,000 hrs.
