Customer guiding with light
"Fiberoptics beyond the street? - That´s impossible." - The new products LaneSpot and LaneLightPanel prove the contrary. These two innovative products just have been tested in an installation at one of Italy´s biggest McDonald´s restaurant in Milan.
Increasing the frequency in their McDrive lanes by illuminating the driveways with these products, McDonald's Italy tries to push the sales of their products in these locations. After having had a look at first figures, sales increased by two digits, without any negative influence of the interior business. The advantages are obvious: according to the claim "light lures people", there's a fast return on investment.
Easy and quick installation assures an almost immediate re-usability of the area. Once laid, the fiberoptics are free from maintenance. Due to their sophisticated design, even finest details can be shown.
Alternative application possibilities are, e.g., multi-storey car parks, but also communicating information to passers-by and customers in ex-protected areas like gas stations.
