Raw material - purchasing situation Japan
We are purchasing only a few number of raw materials directly from Japanese suppliers und have asked them specifically for possible restrictions caused by the tsunami catastrophe and its collateral damages. Most of their plants were lucky not to be touched directly by damages and they have only slight restrictions of production effected by infrastructural destruction like power, water, gas, telecommunication etc., if they have at all. Unfortuantely we cannot exclude that there are some products within our supply chains which may contain components, additves or similar parts from Japanese origin. To ask all of our suppliers for checking this and give a declaration would mean an extreme and uneconomic expense for a temporary problem especially because not only raw materials are concerned but also spare parts, accessories and just like that for our machinery. Therefore we would like to ask you for understanding, if we cannot answer inquiries regarding this situation individually. We will do our very best to guarantee the supply.Download area :
